Budgam, Sept 17: In connection with the observance of Seva Parv, Budgam Police organized cleanliness initiatives across all police establishments in the district.
The programme began with the administration of the Swachhta Pledge at Police Stations, Police Posts, and other units, where officers and staff reaffirmed their commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and a cleaner environment in line with the vision of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
This was followed by a Safayi Abhiyan (cleanliness drive) conducted in police premises and adjoining areas. Officers and personnel actively participated in cleaning offices, surroundings, public-facing spaces, and community zones, reflecting the spirit of service and environmental responsibility.
Budgam Police reiterated its commitment to promoting cleanliness, public welfare, and citizen-centric policing, noting that initiatives like Seva Parv highlight how collective and consistent efforts can bring lasting change.
