Srinagar, Apr 30: The Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday held a workers’ meeting at Kani Mazar in Nawabazar area of Srinagar.
The meeting was chaired by party General Secretary Mohammad Khursheed Alam and Women’s Wing President Anjum Fazli. Among those present were Zuhaib Mir, Arif Laigroo, Dr. Ali Mohammad, Sarah Nayeem and other party workers.
During the meeting, Asmat Bilal was proposed as the candidate for Nawabazar ward and received support from workers present.
Party leaders stressed the need to strengthen grassroots outreach and asked workers to remain connected with the public and address local concerns. They also emphasized unity and coordination among party cadres.
