Srinagar, Oct 18: Former Bollywood actor Zaira Wasim, known for her roles in Dangal and Secret Superstar, has quietly tied the knot, marking a new chapter in her life away from the limelight.
Zaira shared two photographs from her nikaah ceremony on Friday, her first public appearance in years. In one image, she is seen signing her nikaah papers, while another captures a serene moment with her husband under the moonlight. She accompanied the post with a Quranic verse: “And among His signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, so that you may find tranquility in them.”
Zaira rose to fame as a teenager, earning the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Geeta Phogat in Dangal.
