SRINAGAR: In a formal announcement, Yasir Reshi, former Member of the Legislative Council from Sonawari, declared his departure from the Peoples Conference.
Reshi, in a statement to Kashmir Dot Com, expressed “heartfelt gratitude for the opportunities I’ve had while being part of the party and appreciate the invaluable experience gained during my tenure.”
Describing his exit as a “difficult political decision,” Reshi while acknowledging the pivotal role of PC Chief Sajad Lone, said ” Sajad Sahab treated me like a younger brother during my political journey” and under whose leadership he gained “immense political experience.”
Reshi concluded his statement with thanks to “Sajad Lone Sahab for your support and wisdom,” and extended his best wishes for the party’s “continued success.” (KDC)
