BARAMULLA, DECEMBER 18: The Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Tassaduq Hussain Mir today inaugurated a transformative 9-days workshop focused on Educational Administrative skills and IT-enabled workshop organized by Education Department Baramulla at the CEO office, here.

The initiative, driven by Chief Education Officer (CEO) Baramulla, Balbir Singh Raina, brought together Principles of Government Educational Institutions, Head Masters and Zonal Education Officers of Baramulla District.

The workshop aimed to empower 250 Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) in the Education department with essential administrative and IT skills.

Workshop modules included in-depth coverage of Employee Service Conduct Rules, Leave Rules, JK Attendance Portal, and comprehensive awareness sessions on ULLAS, Vidyanjali, NBSM, UDISE Plus, Samiksha, Sparrow Portal, along with accounts-related platforms such as PMFS, BEAMS, JK PaySys, and the operation of GeM Portal GFR Rules.

A distinctive feature of this workshop was the incorporation of hands-on training within the technologically advanced ‘Teacher Informatics Centre,’ established under the Aspirational District program for this specific purpose.

Director School Education Kashmir commended the initiative, acknowledging the efforts of the District Administration in establishing the Teacher Informatics Centre under the Aspirational District program. He encouraged other districts to replicate this model.

During his visit, he assessed the functionality of the Digital Studio, the quality of prepared lectures, and the mechanism of online broadcasting.

This workshop reflects the forward-looking approach of the Education Department in Baramulla, reinforcing its commitment to advancing educational practices and integrating technology.
