Srinagar, Dec 01, KDC: Suspected militants on Wednesday evening fired on cop of Jammu and Kashmir police leaving him critically injured in Kashmir capital Srinagar.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that a cop of traffic police identified as Mohammad Abdullah, a resident of Kangan ganderbal was fired upon by militants leaving him critically injured at Rajouri Kadal in Srinagar.
They said “The cop was immediately shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment”.
More reinforcement has rushed to spot and a case is also being registered in this regard, they said.
