Srinagar, Nov 13, KDC: Students of law on Saturday expressed gratitude to the Head and Dean School of Law, Kashmir University, for holding timely exams and saving precious time of thousands of students.

Thanking Vice Chancellor and Dean Academic, KU, the students of LL.B and BA.LL.B semesters, Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Dot Com that holding of timely exams have paved way for them to appear in upcoming competitive exams.

“We are aware that there are some students who have performed very poorly in previous semester exams. Most of them are backlog (failure) in some of the subjects. They fear most as and when exam dates are announced,” said a group of law students from School of Law, KU.

They said that the majority of students stand with them and are voluntarily helping them to prepare for exams.

“Out of around 3000 students enrolled in School of Law, just 80 or 90 students’ demand deferment of exams. These are the students who never attended the classes or fall short of attendance. They also have a backlog in the previous semesters or very poor marks. Majority of the students are helping them out with how to prepare for scheduled exams to build their confidence,” said another group of students.

“We will not leave those students alone. We stand with them. We will help them so that they can also pass scheduled exams with good marks,” they added.

The majority of the students thanked the Vice Chancellor, Head and Dean School of Law, Prof Beauty Banday and Dean Academics for holding end semester exams at time. (KDC)
