SRINAGAR, AUGUST 15, KDC: As part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ campaign and celebrating 75th Independence day, the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) in collaboration with Cultural Unit Srinagar of DIPR today organised a folk patriotic music show at Tagore Hall here.
On the occasion, the artists of Cultural Unit Srinagar and some renowned artists of valley together mesmerised the audience with their performance, which was equally received with great applause.
The Artists presented patriotic songs and renowned poets recited their patriotic poems in Kashmiri, Urdu, Gojri, Pahari and Punjabi language.
Cultural Officer Kashmir, congratulated the artists for enthralling the audience with their splendid performance. He said Culture has a great role in bringing communities together as it spreads the message of peace and harmony .
Syed Shakeel Shan hosting the Cultural evening congratulated the upcoming artists of different disciplines performing on modern lines.
Among others, Additional Secretary JKAACL, Officers from NZCC, renowned artists and literary icons of the valley attended the function. (KDC)
