Anantnag, June 12, KDC: An elderly woman was killed after being hit by a tractor near Tailwani Achabal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday Afternoon.
An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that a tractor hit an elder woman at Tailwani Achabal area of the district, resulting in the serious injuries of the woman. The injured woman was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
The deceased was identified as Sitara Begum, wife of Sonaullah Bhat, a resident of Kawarigam.
Meanwhile a police official said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation is on. (KDC)
