Srinagar, Apr 05, KDC: Police in North Kashmir’s Sopore town of Baramulla on Monday claimed to have arrested a hardcore Over Ground Worker (OGW) of proscribed militant outfit The Resistance Front (TRF) along with the letter pad of the said militant organization and other incriminating material.
In a statement issued to News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC), a police spokesperson said, “On Saturday , a joint Naka by Sopore Police, 22 RR and 179 CRPF was established at Model Town crossing Sopore. During naka checking one hard core OGW of TRF outfit was apprehended and incriminating material including the letter pad of TRF outfit has been recovered from his possession.”
He identified the accused as Ihsaan ul Haq Khanday son of Nazir Ahmad Khanday, a resident of Faisalabad area of Sopore.
“In this regard case FIR No. 82/2021 U/S 13 ULA (P), 506 IPC stands registered further investigation is going on,” the statement said, adding that ,”more arrests are expected.” (KDC)
