Srinagar, Apr 04, KDC: The Weather in JK and Ladakh is likely to receive light rain from today and tomorrow and moderate rain on Tuesday due to fresh western disturbance.
A Meteorological Official told news agency KDC that fresh western disturbance will likely cause heavy rain or snow in hilly areas of hilly districts which may temporarily disrupt traffic on Jammu and Srinagar highway, Mughal road, Leh-Srinagar highway.
He said that the department has also predicted landslides and shooting stones at vulnerable spots at Jammu-Srinagar and Srinagar-Leh highways.
He also predicted temporary water logging in low lying areas in Kashmir Valley, suspension of agricultural and horticultural activities and dip in temperature. (KDC)
