Srinagar, Mar 15: International forum for justice and Human rights chairman Mohammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement has sharply reacted to the incident which took place at Rawalpora area of Shopian district where the government forces fired pellets on the protesters.
He said” The forces cordoned the area and then started firing towards the suspected spot later on they used explosive material to blast the house and also set three buildings on fire during the gunfight”.
“During the firing when a local militant was killed after people assembled near the encounter site they started firing pellets in which few youths were injured and a local boy was hit by pellets on his eyes and is being treated at Srinagar’s SMHS Hospital.
“Govt should take cognizance of such incidents and India has again shown that they have absolutely no regard for humanitarian laws”.
“IFFJHR will approach international bodies and all the concerned in this regard so that Govt will be stopped from committing such inhuman acts.
