Bandipora March 15, KDC:A 32-year-old married woman died in Rampura village of north Kashmir’s DistrictBandipora, after she allegedly consumed some poisonous material at herresidence.
As per news agency- Kashmir Dot Com KDC, a 32 year old womanallegedly consumed some poisonous material at her residence Rampura village. Shewas immediately referred to the district hospital where doctors referred her toSrinagar for further treatment. However, she died after losing battle with lifethis morning, said an official.
Later, the relatives and deceased of said woman held a massiveprotest in the premises of district hospital Bandipora demanding a clear probe inthe issue and craved perilous punishment to the culprits.
Protesters and relatives told news agency Kashmir Dot Com-that “The deceased was being harassed over dowry we demand a stern punishmentand a swift probe in the matter, so justice can be prevailed”.
Meanwhile police have arrested the husband and father in lawof the deceased woman, while further investigation is going on in the matter.A Police officer said that the body was handed over to her family members for last rites. (KDC)
