Srinagar, Dec 17, KDC: A CRPF trooper was injured in grenade attack in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday.
An official told news agency KDC that suspected militants lobbed hand grenade on government forces near Bijbehara hospital leaving a CRPF trooper injured. He was shifted to SDH Bijbehara where his condition is stable, officials said.
The injured CRPF man was identified as Patil Parmakar of 40 BN CRPF.
Meanwhile, the entire area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (KDC)
