Shopian, Dec 12, KDC: An army soldier died of cardiac arrest during CASO in South Kashmiri’s Shopian district on Saturday.
Sources told news agency KDC that soldier identified as Ab Majeed a resident of Anantnag, of 162 Territorial Army (TA) received a massive heart stroke during and Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Zainpora village. He was immediately rushed to nearby hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead. Majeed was attached with Rastriya Riffles (RR Ist)
An official also confirmed the death of the soldier. (KDC)
