Srinagar, Aug 19, KDC: Two cops of Jammu and Kashmir Police and a civilian were on Thursday evening injured after militants lobbed a grenade towards joint naka party at Saraf Kadal area of Kashmir capital Srinagar.
An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that militants lobbed a grenade towards the joint naka party of CRPF and police.
He said that two policemen identified as Javeed Ahmad and Abdul Majeed Bhat and a civilian Fayaz Ahmad sustained injuries during the attack. Both policemen and a civilian were shifted to the hospital for treatment and are said to be stable, he added.
A police official said that a case is being registered in this regard and the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (KDC)
