Srinagar, KDC: In a significant development, the Center for Youth Development under the Chairmanship of well-known social worker Imtiyaz Chasti held a brainstorming session on the menace of drug addiction on Sunday. The programme saw impressive participation of the youth and elders of Downtown Srinagar. The Downtown coordination committee also lent full support to the programme.
It is worth mentioning here that it was resolved to crush the menace of drug addiction from Kashmir and rid Downtown of every vice.
The programme resolved that a series of awareness programmes and ideas would be formulated to end the drug addiction.
Sheikh Ashiq former president KCCI and eminent entrepreneur also participated in the programme. Galaxy of other eminent faces from the Downtown participated in the programme.
It was vowed to continue the fight against the hydra headed monster of drug addiction. (KDC)
