Kulgam, Jul 25, KDC: Suspected militants on Sunday afternoon snatched a rifle from a police man at Khudwani crossing on the National Highway in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that the suspected militants snatched an AK-47 rifle from a cop namely Mudasir Ahmad at Shamsipora Crossing in Khudwani area.
They said that the cop is from Devsar area of Kulgam and was posted at Wanpoh police station.
A police official said that the area has been cordoned off adding that a case under relevant section of law has been registered in this regard. (KDC)
