Srinagar, June 17, KDC: Militants shot at a policeman at Sadpora Safakadal area of Srinagar this evening.
Sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that unknown gunmen fired upon a police constable who was in civvies.
Sources said that police constable suffered multiple bullets and has been shifted to SKIMS where he succumbed to his injuries.
The police constable has been identified as Javaid Ahmed Kambay son of Ghulam Mohammad Kambay, a resident of Saidpora Srinagar.
Sources added that the cop is the security guard of a retired High Court Judge. (KDC)
