Srinagar, June 06, KDC: Dr Anant Bhagwat, National Chief Global Strategic Policy Foundation (GSPFP), and Firdous Baba Chief J&K (GSPFP) while winding three days visit on Monday said that soon one mega event is being organised in Kashmir which will prove a turning point and game changer for the region. It will be organised by GSPF where thousands of masses will participate in the event, said Dr Anant Bhagwat, while briefing media at the GSPF office here.

Bhagwat according to news agency Kashmir Dot Com said that many people across Kashmir have been inclined towards the GSPF, and the people want to be part of the peace and development process the organization is promoting here.

“People are taking a keen interest in developmental plans propagated by the positive platforms like GSPF and its affiliate groups in Jammu and Kashmir and they also want to be part of the peace caravan,” Dr Anant said.

He said that in new Kashmir opportunities were explored by the government and as such Kashmir valley is presently witnessing a boom in tourism activities.

Peace is establishing its roots in Kashmir valley and as a new horizon of harmony with prosperity is very much here, he said adding that Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing a corruption free administration and many key sectors are witnessing robust growth and are now almost corruption free.

Bhagwat said that the administration has helped in improving the infrastructure in the power sector and as a result the curtailment schedule witnessed a lot of improvement during the winters when power supply used to be scarce across Kashmir.

“The improvement in the power sector will help improve the curtailment plans further and the curtailments can be minimized to just one hour in the coming weeks and months,” Anant added.

He further said that militancy and violent extremism is now having its last breath that is why now they are targeting soft targets only as the security forces have managed to curtail their presence and might across all the districts in Jammu and Kashmir.

He added that the CID department is a powerful institution now, and most of the inputs against the militants are being provided by the people here as people here have understood the futility of violence.

The GSPF chief patron earlier met numerous delegations from all walks of life visited downtown Srinagar, paid obeisance at Charar e Sharief shrine and had a detailed meeting with Lt Governor about the futuristic activities of GSPF in Kashmir, Dr Anant baghwat was accompanied by J-K chief of GSPF Firdous Baba.
