Srinagar June 01, KDC: Apni Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari on Tuesday expressed deep shock over the demise of an eminent Islamic scholar and preacher Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed who today passed away at a hospital in Jammu.
In a condolence message issued here, Bukhari expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members and prayed for the peace to the departed soul.
He said Mufti Saheb’s demise has created a huge void in the society as he was a spiritual leader who always inspired the people towards the path of peace and serenity.
“The deceased was a prominent Islamic scholar and a noted orator who during his lifetime always stressed on the necessity of cultivating values of philanthropy, simplicity and modest living among the people,” he said.
He said that his contribution to the society will always be remembered as he is the first Islamic scholar who translated the Holy Quran into Gojri Language besides authoring several other books.
“I pray for eternal peace to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family, friends and Mufti Saheb’s followers in general,” he prayed. (KDC)
