Srinagar, May 07, KDC: Militants on Saturday morning shot at a police man and injured him critically at Ali Jan road in Kashmir capital Srinagar.
Sources told news agency KDC that a cop identified as Ghulam Hassan, son of Ghulam Rasool Dar, a resident of Daniwar Eidgah, was travelling in his bike on way to PCR, when he was shot by militants near Aiwa Bridge. The cop was rushed to SKIMS Soura and his condition is said to be critical.
A police officer confirmed the incident to KDC and said the area has been cordoned off and further details are being collected. (KDC)
