Srinagar, May 10: International Forum for Justice Human Rights JK on Sunday said that while the world is celebrating mother’s days, nobody seems to be bothered about the state of Kashmiri mothers.

In a statement, the chairman of the IFJHRJK, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo said that while there are celebrations going on around the world to honour the mothers, but the Kashmiri mothers are longing to see their sons who have been subjected to Indian Jails, enforced disappearances.

He said that the mothers in Kashmir have been subjected to enormous pain by the forces by killing and maiming their sons, and by murdering and blinding their husbands.

He said that the so called civilized world should wake up to the sufferings of Kashmiri mothers and address their issues.

Untoo said that over the last several years the sufferings of the Kashmiri mothers have increased manifold. Their sons have been maimed and killed. They have been denied their sons, and husband’s bodies.

He urged the world bodies including the United Nations, Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International and other bodies of women’s rights to take note of the sufferings of Kashmiri mothers
