Srinagar, April 07, KDC: In a shocking incident a minor girl has conceived a child after being allegedly raped by two men in Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A senior official told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that a minor girl (name withheld) aged about 15/16 years old has got pregnant after she was allegedly raped by two men, one a policeman and the second one a retired army man.
He said that police have registered a formal case in Police Station Qazigund under FIR Number 61/2021 U/S 342, 109, 376D of IPC under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
“Total four persons who were accused of the immoral act have been arrested. They include a policeman, a retired army man, a lady and another civilian”, he said
He added that further investigations pertaining to the case are on.
Pertinently, last week a girl was allegedly raped in the same area inside a truck by two persons, who are currently facing detention in the said case. (KDC)
