Srinagar, Apr 03, KDC: The rifle snatching attempt was thwarted on Saturday at Branch of J&K Bank in south Kashmir’s Shopian while the alert guard succeeded to nab one of the accused.
Sources told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that unknown persons tried to snatch a 12-bore rifle from a guard of J&K bank branch Shopian.
However, timely action and retaliation of the said guard led to arrest of one of the accused in the incident.
Meanwhile, Police have taken the accused into custody and have set further investigations into motion. (KDC)
