Srinagar, Mar 27, KDC: Security forces on Saturday evening launched a joint cordon and search operation in Wangam village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Reports reaching News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) said that joint team of forces including Army’s 34RR, 172 Bn of CRPF and Special operations Group (SOG) of J&K police have cordoned off whole village following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Searches were underway in the area when reports last came in. (KDC)
