Handwara, Mar 4,KDC: Joint Forces Friday said that a militant was apprehended after he along with his associate fired upon a patrolling party in North Kashmir’s Handwara.
Militants carried out the attack near Dandakadal area of Langate.
They said that shortly after the militant attack, the area was cordoned off and a militant was apprehended in injured condition while another fled away. The operation is underway to nab the associate of the injured militant.
The injured militant is being treated at the hospital. Police sources identified the wounded militant as Abrar Gojri who had recently joined militant ranks
