Srinagar, Feb 01, KDC: Unknown militant on Tuesday critically injured a policeman in South Kashmir’s Shopian district, officials said.
A top police officer told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that militant fired upon the police constable identified as Shabir Ahmad leaving him in a pool of blood.
The policeman was immediately shifted to hospital in ‘critical’ conditions, he said.
Soon after the attack, the officer said that the entire area was cordoned off and searches were launched and a case is also being registered. (KDC)
