Srinagar, Feb 12, KDC: A massive intensity earthquake was felt in parts of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday evening.
An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com- (KDC) that the earthquake was felt at close to 17:34 pm adding that the earthquake with magnitude of 6.1, which had its epicentre in Amritsar Punjab at a depth of 10 kilometers.
He said the earthquake was felt more in Jammu division where people rushed out of their homes.
The officials said there were no reports of any damage due to the earthquake. (KDC)
