Jammu, Jan 13, KDC: Zuhaib Mir, who joined PDP last week, was today welcomed by the party workers and leaders in Jammu office.
Zuhaib was welcomed by Jammu PDP vice president Choudhary Hamid,Amreek Singh, Virender Sonu and other party leaders amid much enthusiasm.
He was garlanded by the workers and accorded a warm welcome.
Speaking on the occasion according to Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Dot Com, Zuhaib said that he joined PDP because he felt deeply impressed by the mission and vision of PDP after August 5, 2019.
He said that PDP under the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti was the only party to raise voice and issues of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“You have to put your ear to the ground and listen to the pain and cries of the people and raise your voice against it. Youth can lead a new change in Jammu and Kashmir and with this aim in mind, I have joined the party,” he said.
He said that it is vital to raise the voice of the people who are facing suppression and difficulties.
Talking about the demolition drive in Roop Nagar area of Jammu, he said that the wailing women who were crying at the site was appealing to people like us to raise their voice and become their support.
