Srinagar, Jan 31, KDC: Amid bird flu scare in the the Union Territory of J&K, at least two dozen crows have been found dead in Tujer area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district in the past couple of days while the concerned authorities seems non-serious about the issue.
Locals from Tujer while talking to News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC), alleged that the concerned authorities are not taking the matter serious thereby turning blind eye as no official had visited the area despite bringing the matter into their consideration.
“Amid huge threat of bird flu authorities are unmoved as they are doing nothing. We don’t know how and why these crows are dying and no body is concerned about us,” they alleged.
Moreover, panic has gripped the entire village. The residents have appealed the administration to depute a team to the area as soon as possible.
Pertinently, Baramulla administration has already put Hardushiva sopore on alert zone few days back.
Meanwhile, several cases of Avian Flu commonly known as Bird Flu have been reported in Udhampur district among the domestic birds. (KDC)
