Srinagar, Aug 25, KDC: The Ministry of Home Affairs has posted Abdul Jabbar, IPS (AGMUT: 2008) to the Jammu & Kashmir segment of the Joint AGMUT cadre with immediate effect and until further orders.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on August 25, 2026, Abdul Jabbar reported to the cadre on August 24, 2026.
The order stated that the period between his reporting to the cadre and issuance of the posting order shall be treated as “awaiting posting.” (KDC)
