JAMMU, Aug 21: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has booked suspended police Inspector Vijay Choudhary, brother of Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
A First Information Report (FIR) has already been registered against Vijay Choudhary by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
Sources said the ED has registered the case under Section ¾ PMLA against Vijay Choudhary for managing dozens of assets using benami transactions and money laundering.
Further investigations have been taken up.
Vijay Choudhary, a Jammu and Kashmir Police Inspector has already been suspended by the Police Department.
