JAMMU, JULY 21, KDC: Ramprasad Kabra, father of senior IAS officer Shaleen Kabra, passed away at the age of 90.
According to a family obituary, Ramprasad Kabra breathed his last on July 20, 2026, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Lilavati Kabra, sons Shaleen Kabra and Tabish, daughter and other family members.
The cremation will take place at Jogi Gate in Jammu today at 4 pm.
Shaleen Kabra, a 1992-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, is currently serving as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Jal Shakti Department, and also holds the charge of Financial Commissioner (Revenue) and Estates Department in the Jammu and Kashmir government.
