MD, JKPCC inspects progress of ongoing works at LD Hospital

SRINAGAR, Dec 24, KDC:  Managing Director, JKPCC, Rajesh Kumar Shavan today visited the project site of Lal Ded Hospital here and inspected the progress of ongoing construction works there being executed by JKPCC.

While inspecting the progress on ongoing works, However, the Managing Director directed the General Manager, DGM and Project Engineer to resolve design issues with IIT Delhi immediately in order to complete the project within the stipulated time.

During the visit, The MD also inspected new fire-fighting system of the hospital and directed the concerned officers to complete this within the given timeframe. He also inspected newly constructed water station of the hospital and assessed its functioning.

On the occasion, General Manager, JKPCC, Kashmir, briefed the Managing Director about the overall status of the ongoing works at LD Hospital being executed at the cost of Rs. 132.50 Crore. The GM informed the Managing Director that it is going to be a typical type of building based on Base Isolation type foundation having quality of resisting seismic forces.

The Managing Director was accompanied by G.M. (Superintending Engineer) JKPCC Kashmir, Er. Shaukat Ahmad Dar; Dy. General Manager JKPCC Unit Srinagar, Er. Zulfikar Parrey, Project Engineers and other concerned officers of the corporation.
