Srinagar, June 22, KDC: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday ordered the transfer of senior IPS officer Anand Jain from Jammu and Kashmir to the Union Territory of Ladakh, where he has been posted as the Director General of Police (DGP).
According to an order issued by the MHA on June 22, Anand Jain, an AGMUT cadre IPS officer of the 1999 batch, has been appointed as DGP, Ladakh, with immediate effect and until further orders.
The order stated that the transfer and posting of the officer have been made with the approval of the competent authority.
Anand Jain was serving as ADGP armed in Jammu and Kashmir prior to his transfer to Ladakh. (KDC)
