Srinagar, June 19 (KDC): The Crime Branch Kashmir on Friday said it conducted a search at a residential house in Beerwah area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district in connection with a case registered in 2017.
Reports reaching news agency Kashmir Dot Com said that, the search was carried out at the residence of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, son of Late Abdul Ahad Sheikh, a resident of Bonith, Beerwah, in connection with FIR No. 34/2017 registered at Police Station Crime Branch Kashmir under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC).
During the search, the investigating team seized several documents, including identity documents, bank passbooks and a photocopy of a Jamabandi pertaining to various Khasra numbers dated October 7, 2013.
They said the search concluded peacefully and the seized documents have been taken into possession for further investigation in accordance with law. (KDC)
