Jammu, Dec 5, KDC: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday accorded sanction to the promotion of several Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers to higher grades with immediate effect.
As per the official orders, Abdul Qyume and Sheeba Inayat have been promoted to the Selection Grade of JKAS [Level 12 (₹78,800–2,09,200)]. Consequent upon his promotion, Abdul Qyume has been designated as Additional Secretary to the Government in the concerned department. Sheeba Inayat will continue at her present place of posting until further orders.
In a separate order, Shabir Ahmad Raina, Jahangir Hashmi and Vaibhav Kohli have been promoted to the Special Scale of JKAS [Level 13 (₹1,23,100–2,15,900)]. Following the promotion, Vaibhav Kohli has been designated as Special Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, while the other two officers will continue at their current postings, reported mews agency Kashmir Dot Com.
Meanwhile, the government has also promoted Shubra Sharma to the Super Time Scale of JKAS in Pay Level 14 (₹1,44,200–2,18,200) with immediate effect.
All the promotions have been made subject to the outcome of any writ petitions pending before competent courts of law, the orders said. (KDC)
