Jammu, Aug 31, KDC: The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) on Sunday announced the closure of all government and private schools across the Jammu Division for September 1 (Monday) due to prevailing inclement weather conditions.
The order, issued by Director School Education Jammu, Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary (JKAS), said the decision has been taken “in continuation to this office order issued under endorsement No. DSEJ/GEN/44661-78 dated 28-08-2025, keeping in view the incessant rains and landslides in hilly areas, and in order to ensure the safety of students and staff.”
The official communication directed that no school, whether government-run or privately managed, shall function on Monday across the division. (KDC)
