Budgam, Jan 13, KDC: In continuation to its war against drug menace, Budgam police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested two drug peddlers for supplying drugs.

According to news agency Kashmir Dot Com during a Naka checking at Mohanpora Ompora, Police Party from Police Station Budgam intercepted a Maruti 800 bearing registered No.JK04B-4162 with two persons onboard. During search 24 bottles of Codine Phosphate, 150 Spasmo-Proxyvon plus Capsules and 99 tablets of Alprazolam were recovered from their possession.

They have been identified as Umer Gaffar Lone son of Abdul Gaffar Lone resident of Humhama and Aqib Wani Son of Ghulam Hassan Wani resident of Mohanpora Ompora.

Accordingly, cases FIR No.06/2021 have been registered at Police Station Budgam and further investigation has been taken up. (KDC)
