Srinagar, July 6, KDC: Political leader Ashraf Palpori launched a scathing attack on the National Conference (NC), accusing the party of misleading the people of Jammu and Kashmir with lofty promises that never translated into real change.

Palpori criticized the NC for what he called a repeated pattern of offering “tall claims” in its election manifestos — including promises of employment, development, peace, and prosperity — only to vanish after securing votes.

“For years, people have heard the same promises, but what has actually reached the ground? Just political drama and betrayal,” Palpori said. “The people of Jammu and Kashmir deserve leadership that delivers, not leaders who disappear once elections are over.”

He urged voters to demand accountability and look beyond traditional political narratives. “It’s time to choose action over assurance, and performance over promises,” he added. (KDC)
