Jammu, May 30: Senior IAS officer Sanjeev Verma has been appointed as the Chief Electoral Officer of Jammu and Kashmir.
A 2001 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, Verma is currently serving as Commissioner Secretary, Social Welfare Department.
He has earlier held key posts including Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department.
