Srinagar, May 27, KDC: The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announce the return of former Wachi MLA, Aijaz Mir, to its ranks.
Party President Mehbooba Mufti warmly welcomed Mir back, marking a significant step in strengthening the party’s commitment to its founding vision.
In a message shared on social media, Mufti stated, “After many ups and downs, it was heartening to welcome Aijaz Mir back home. Our shared journey has seen its share of challenges, but I am hopeful we will walk forward with renewed purpose.” The reunion underscores the PDP’s dedication to the ideals of its founder, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, focusing on unity, progress, and democratic values in Jammu and Kashmir.
Aijaz Mir, a prominent leader known for his strong grassroots connect and advocacy for youth issues, expressed deep gratitude for the warm reception. “I am honored to return to the PDP family and reaffirm my commitment to serving the people of Jammu and Kashmir while strengthening our shared democratic values,” Mir said.
