Army soldier injured in landmine blast in J&K

Jammu, Feb 20: An army soldier was injured on Thursday in a landmine blast in Balakote sector in Mendhar area of Poonch district.

Officials told GNS that today an army soldier was injured after he stepped accidentally over a landmine at Tarkundi, forward post at Line of Control (LoC).

The soldier sustained injury in his left foot, and was immediately shifted to army hospital for treatment.
