SRINAGAR: Chairman of Voice of Youth, Khubaib Mir, has been conferred with the Bharat Gaurav Yuva Puruskar at the Bharatiya Samskruti Utsav – 7 in recognition of his contributions to social activism, youth engagement, and peace-building in Kashmir.
Mir’s work focuses on youth empowerment, policy advocacy, and countering misinformation. Through Voice of Youth, he has facilitated dialogue on national security and governance, fostering cooperation between youth, policymakers, and security agencies.
The award ceremony, attended by over 30,000 people, highlighted his role in promoting informed discourse and constructive engagement in Kashmir. Mir termed the recognition as a step toward youth-led progress and national integration.
