SRINAGAR: The JK Peace Forum has announced that Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will lead an Inter-Community Committee to facilitate the rehabilitation and integration of displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
According to a press release issued by the Forum to Kashmir Dot Com, In a meeting held in New Delhi, the Forum and Mirwaiz agreed on initiatives to support Pandit return, address minority issues, and strengthen cultural and economic ties.
It said that Mirwaiz emphasized shared historical suffering. “Mirwaiz highlighted the need for Pandit return for a complete Kashmir and stressed education on composite culture for the youth,” it read. (KDC)
