SRINAGAR: National Conference (NC) President, Farooq Abdullah Wednesday appeared before the Munsif Court in Budgam today in connection with the ongoing case, FIR No. 202/2017 under Section 419 of the RPC.
Following his court appearance, Abdullah according to Srinagar-based news gathering agency Kashmir Dot Com met with the Session Judge of Budgam to discuss various legal matters.
During an interaction with the media, Farooq Abdullah When asked about the recent spate of target killings and encounters, Abdullah said, “I’ve seen such encounters for a long time.”
Additionally, Abdullah spoke about the need for better judicial infrastructure. He informed the press that the Bar Association Budgam has identified land for the construction of a new court complex and expressed his commitment to urging the Jammu and Kashmir government to initiate the project at the earliest.
