ANANTNAG, Dec 6,KDC : Drug Control Office (DCO) Anantnag today began a Surprise inspection drive in Seer Humdan and adjacent areas including Sub District Hospital Seer Humdan.
The team also lifted drug samples of various pharmaceutical companies for analysis. The team impressed upon the chemists to ensure maintenance of proper records of all scheduled H1 drugs as per norms.
The inspection drive was headed by DCO Anantnag who focus on medical establishments located in area to make them accountable as per the Act.
DCO Anantnag also checked the peramaeters of Drug & cosmetics Act in the area and also checked CCTV & Computerised Billing
Drug Controller Officer also warned of strict penal action against chemists / medical shops that fail to Relay upon the Act.
Lateron awareness regarding dos and donots,good pharmacy practice techanichaniques were given to the chemists in and around SDH Seer Hamden.
