Srinagar 30 Nov : An encounter broke between security forces and militants in the Arihal area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday evening, said police.
As per the news agency KDC , police said that the gunfight started after a search operation was launched based on the inputs received by police regarding the presence of militants in the area.
“Encounter started in Arihal village of District Pulwama .Police and security forces on job . Further details shall follow,” said the Kashmir Zone Police in a post on X .
However, there were no reports of any casualty being inflicted on either side engaged in the gunfight.
