Srinagar, Jan 06, KDC: The Ajas police on Wednesday facilitated transportation for a pregnant lady in Ajas area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district and carried her to hospital amid snowfall in the district.
Reports reaching to news agency Kashmir Dot Com-(KDC) said that a pregnant lady, resident of Waza mohalla Ajas got a labour pain on Wednesday evening. Subsequently due to unavailability of public transport, the family couldn’t arrange a vehicle to ferry the patient as such they informed the police post Ajas, the Division Officer managed his own official vehicle for the said patient. The patient was also accompanied by policemen and her relatives, was immediately shifted to CHC Sumbal for surgery.
This philanthropic approach of the officer has won him huge respect and big heart among the locals and his dedication is hugely appreciated.
Pertinently, the said officer along with his special team yesterday night rescued more than 50 vehicles stranded at Churtung mode area of Bandipora district by arranging a JCB machine on his liaison. (KDC)
